The Olubadan-designate, Oba Rasidi Adewolu Ladoja, has assured that there will be no delay in filling vacant positions in the Olubadan chieftaincy line.
Ladoja made the statement while receiving the Asipa Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Abiodun Kola-Daisi, at his Lagos residence.
In a statement issued on Monday by his Media Aide, Adeola Oloko, Ladoja noted that he was not in Ibadan at the time the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Akinloye Owolabi Olakulehin, passed on.
He paid glowing tribute to the late monarch, describing him as a traditional ruler who left behind a lasting legacy.
"Kabiyesi Olakulehin lived an impactful life and gave a good account of himself," Ladoja said.
"There would be no delay in filling every pending vacancy in the Olubadan chieftaincy line."
Oba Kola-Daisi, in his remarks, extended his condolences to Ladoja over the demise of the 43rd Olubadan and pledged his unwavering loyalty and support to the Olubadan-designate.
