The Nigeria Boxing Federation says it is confident the country can secure medals at the 2026 Commonwealth Games.

Officials highlighted the emergence of several Nigerian boxers in global rankings as evidence of progress within the sport.

The federation says preparations are being intensified to ensure athletes are competitive when the games begin.

It added that a blend of experienced fighters and emerging talents will boost Nigeria’s chances of success.
