Dangote Refinery has reportedly increased its crude oil processing capacity to about 700,000 barrels per day.

The development is expected to strengthen domestic fuel production and reduce dependence on imported petroleum products.

Industry experts say higher refining output could improve supply stability and support Nigeria’s energy security goals.

The refinery remains a key component of efforts to transform the country’s downstream petroleum sector.
