Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali has returned to South African club Chippa United after a proposed move away from the club failed to materialise.

Chippa United welcomed the 29-year-old back, describing his experience and leadership as a major boost ahead of the new season.

Nwabali’s return is also good news for Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle, as the goalkeeper is expected to regain regular playing time after missing Nigeria’s last four international matches while without a club.
