The Federal Government has inaugurated a Ministerial Advisory Committee to provide independent reviews and evidence-based recommendations on its economic reforms.

Minister of Finance, Taiwo Oyedele, said the committee will help assess policies, identify risks and ensure reforms translate into improved living standards for Nigerians.

He added that the focus is moving from announcing reforms to delivering results.

The committee, chaired by Sterling Bank Managing Director, Abubakar Suleiman, will advise the government on economic policy, public finance and strategies to achieve its target of seven per cent annual GDP growth and a one trillion-dollar economy by 2030.
