Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, says the Opebi Link Bridge will be opened to motorists before the end of September 2026.
Sanwo-Olu said construction has reached the final stage, with workers carrying out finishing touches on the project.
He added that an architectural feature would be installed on the bridge to enhance its appeal and potentially make it a tourist attraction.
