The Kaduna State Police Command says it has recovered 332 suspected counterfeit 100-dollar notes, nine locally fabricated firearms, a pump-action rifle and two stolen vehicles in separate operations across the state.
Police spokesperson, DSP Mansir Hassan, said three suspects were arrested over a stolen black GMK Jeep worth about 70 million naira, which they allegedly planned to sell for four million naira after dismantling it for parts.
Another suspect was arrested with a Toyota Hilux allegedly stolen from Niger Republic.
The command also said its operatives recovered the firearms and pump-action rifle during operations against bandits and suspected gunrunners, adding that investigations were ongoing to arrest fleeing suspects and uncover wider criminal networks.
