In a significant diplomatic move, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu announced that holders of Diplomatic and Official passports from the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) will no longer require visas to travel to Nigeria.
This announcement came during Tinubu's address at a special joint session of the Senate and House of Assembly in Saint Lucia.
The president highlighted plans for a formal Joint Commission to enhance collaboration between Nigeria and the OECS in key sectors such as trade, investment, education, and climate resilience.
These efforts aim to strengthen historic ties between Nigeria and Caribbean nations.
