Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, and members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state have endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as their preferred candidate for the 2027 general election.

Governor Adeleke made the announcement in a post shared via his official X (formerly Twitter) handle on Tuesday. He stated that the Osun PDP has endorsed President Tinubu for re-election in 2027, recognizing him as a proud son of the state.

The endorsement has sparked reactions across political circles, especially given the fact that Tinubu is a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), while Adeleke and the Osun PDP belong to the opposition.
