Oyo State Commissioner for Finance Akinola Ojo has urged public officers to view the Code of Conduct Bureau as a key institution promoting transparency and accountability in the use of public funds.

He made the call during a one-day training for staff of the Ministry of Finance on the CCB Assets and Liabilities Declaration Form held in Ibadan.

Ojo emphasized that accurate and honest completion of asset declaration forms prevents future complications and reinforces public trust.

State Director of the CCB, Amao Bolaji, said public officers must comply with the law by declaring assets, liabilities, income, and interests as required.
