President Bola Tinubu, with his wife, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, will leave Abuja today for a state visit to the United Kingdom. The visit, the first by a Nigerian leader in 37 years, will see the President hosted by King Charles III and Queen Camilla at Windsor Castle from March 18 to 19. Tinubu will also hold talks with Prime Minister Keir Starmer, witness the signing of key agreements, and oversee a £746 million deal to upgrade Nigeria’s ports. The trip aims to strengthen ties between Nigeria and the UK across trade, investment, cultural exchange, and interfaith collaboration. He will return to Nigeria at the end of the visit.
