Russia has warned the United States and Turkey over a planned shipment of weapons and ammunition to Ukraine, saying the move could further escalate the conflict.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said the reported shipment includes rocket systems, thousands of cluster munitions and ATACMS missiles.

Moscow is demanding explanations over who initiated the transfer, how the weapons will be delivered and when they will arrive.

Russia said supplying more weapons to Ukraine will not change the course of the war but could damage its relations with Washington and Ankara.
