Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali says his priority is helping South African club Chippa United achieve its goals, rather than fighting to reclaim Nigeria’s number-one spot.

Nwabali recently returned to Chippa United, after leaving the club in February, while Maduka Okoye and Arthur Okonkwo have featured for the Super Eagles.

With Nigeria set to face Madagascar in a 2027 AFCON qualifier in September, Nwabali says his immediate focus remains on helping Chippa United secure as many points as possible.
