Nigerian referee Joseph Odey Ogabor has been appointed by CAF to officiate the Champions League preliminary-round first-leg clash between Ghanaian champions Medeama SC and TP Mazembe of the Democratic Republic of Congo on September 6 in Tarkwa.

Ogabor will be assisted by compatriots Tejiri Besmart Digbori and Ahmad Tijjani Mustapha, while Salisu Basheer will serve as the fourth official.

The second leg is scheduled for September 12 in the Democratic Republic of Congo, with Medeama seeking a strong home result against the experienced TP Mazembe side.
