The Osun State House of Assembly has passed the Osun State University Establishment Amendment Bill 2026, following consideration and approval of proposed amendments during plenary yesterday.

The Speaker, Adewale Egbedun, said the amended law would strengthen the university and create opportunities for experienced personnel to contribute to its development.

Egbedun said the Assembly would complete the necessary administrative processes before forwarding the final copy of the bill to Governor Ademola Adeleke for assent.
