Algeria goalkeeper Luca Zidane has been dropped from the squad for the country’s two Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches against Togo.
Head coach Brahim Hemdani says the decision was based on sporting considerations, despite Zidane’s recent absence due to injury and suspension.
The son of French football legend Zinedine Zidane has been replaced by Oussama Benbot, Melvin Mastil and Abdelatif Ramdane.
