Argentina will leave its famous number 10 shirt vacant during the November international break in honour of former captain Lionel Messi.
Head coach Lionel Scaloni has decided that no player will wear the iconic number during the team’s friendly fixtures, including the clash against Uruguay.
The decision reflects the national team’s respect for Messi, who retired from international football during the October break.
